Dr Andrew Paterson

Dr Andrew Paterson graduated from medicine at the University of Sydney in 2000, and thereafter did his internship at Wollongong Hospital and trained in Anaesthetics at St Vincents Hospital and Concord Hospitals in Sydney. He completed his Anaesthetic Fellowship in 2011, and gained his Fellowship in Pain Medicine in 2013.

Dr Paterson has a wide interest in Pain Medicine, particularly in perioperative and post surgical pain management and management of post amputation and phantom limb pain.

He is a firm believer in the power of a true multidisciplinary approach in getting the best outcomes for his patients, and liaises closely with other members of the Inner West Pain team to deliver the best outcomes for his patients.
